Turkey Turkey week!





For our Thanksgiving celebration we had a lot of fun! We practiced for our Thanksgiving show where the kids did an amazing job! We had plenty of activities to make our week exciting. For snack Adelynn brought what we needed for our Turkey cookies. She did such a great job making her cookie cute! Abner got a chocolate mustache and wasn't afraid to show it off! Haha! We watched a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie and read some Thanksgiving books! We had a great time celebrating the holiday!

Thanksgiving Fun!





For our week of Thanksgiving activities we had a fun filled time! For snack we made Turkey cookies that were just precious! Josh brought what we needed and did so good making his turkey cookie. Dominic was so funny with his chocolate mustache, we couldn't resist taking a picture! We prepared for our Thanksgiving show and all the preschoolers did a great job Tuesday night! We watched a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie to show the kids what Thanksgiving means. We also read Thanksgiving books and had a great time celebrating the holiday! :)

M is for Mouse!



For the letter M we made mouses to add to our alphabet books! We also made a cup o' cocoa with marshmallows that had m word pictures inside. This week we read the If You Give A Mouse series with is the show we will be going to for our field trip! We also did mystery words which the kids love! Miss Carrie shows them a three letter word and the kids sound out the letter and mesh them together to make the words. They are doing a great job with it! For snack we made Mighty Milk which Ashton brought the ingredients for. Will got a Mighty Mustache! :)

M is for M & M's!





This week we learned about the letter M!. The morning class made M is for M & M's! We all had a hard time not eating the paper, so Miss Carrie gave everyone some M & M's. We read the If You Give A Mouse series. If You Give A Mouse A Cookie is the show we will be seeing for the field trip. The kids then enjoyed making their own mouse puppet! We also went over ABAB, ABB, and AAB patterns. For snack this week Ashlyn brought the ingredients to make Mighty Milk! Some kids got mighty mustaches! Haha! After our snack the kids showed of their Mighty Muscles! Their faces were too cute!

Can you think of L words?





For the letter L, the afternoon preschoolers thought of plenty of L words! Miss Carrie and Miss Britney were so proud! For snack Isabella brought the ingredients to make Leprechaun pie with a lucky gold coin hidden inside! The had a great time searching for their gold and showing their friends! We also made a lion to add to our alphabet books. We practiced our patterns this week and introduced some new ones. We did AB, AABB, and ABB patterns. Some of this kids also found their new favorite activity to do during playtime. They love to act like Miss Carrie and Miss Britney and be teachers! It is so cute to watch them all playing together!

Llama, Llama Red Pajama!!





This week we learned about the letter L and made Leprechaun pie with a lucky gold coin inside! It may have been hard to find the pot of gold, but Miss Carrie found the pudding on Emma's nose! The preschoolers loved the book Llama, Llama Red Pajama. Also, Miss Carrie spied some boys playing with some favorite toys! Haha! :)

K is for kabob!





For snack the afternoon class make grape kabobs! Royce brought in the grapes and sticks so the preschoolers could make their kabobs perfect. We added some learning into our kabobs and made an AAB pattern! For the letter k the preschoolers made a kite to add to their alphabet books! This week we also learned about the number 10 and how to spell the number word ten. In addition, we began to make our props for the Thanksgiving show. We prepared our braclets! :)

The morning class did a great job at making their grape kabobs! Cody brought us everything we needed in order to make our snack perfect! For this week we also learned about the number 10! The afternoon class was ready to get back from break!








The week back from break we learned about the letter J! For snack Abner brought everything we needed to make Jolly Jack-O! They were so excited to decorate their snacks and loved the cream cheese topping! We also made Jack-O-Lanterns and talked about words that start with the J sound!
